District softball 4A help

Champion or Co champion

Bay City softball team beat El Campo Tuesday to finish at 9-3 in 23-4A

Foster is 8-3 and finishes play against Terry on Friday

They should win and leave both teams at 9-3

The teams played three times in district and Bay City won 2

Bay City coach is claiming and outright district champions since they won 2 out of 3 and Foster will be claiming a co-championship which I agree on

Bay City should only get first playoff seed

What do yall think

yeah why did they play three in district........or was one a non-dist tourney game sometime in the season?

Bay City, El Campo, Lamar, Terry, Foster

They do that in baseball too

yeah I just looked that up on the UIL site.. I guess maybe the district mins....might have something.........I say make them co-champs same record and bay city goes district Champ(2-1 record)......in 4A four teams go so it's not like they earn a bye.

Then I would say that winning 2 of 3 head to head Bay City should have #1 seed.

I guess either can call it whatever they want but if you are the #1 seed and you beat the other team 2 out of 3 in district games, then you are the district champs in my book.
