YOE TO HOST LIFT-A-THON 2010-04-17
(CAMERON) The Cameron Yoe Athletic Department will hold its 1st Annual Lift-A-Thon on Thursday, April 22nd at the Yoe High Gym. All of the Boys in the Athletic Program will compete in a Bench Press competition at Yoe Gym at 6:00 PM.

The athletes will solicit pledges and donations to raise money for the Cameron Yoe Athletic Department.

Athletic Director Rick Rhoades said the public is encouraged to attent and support the Yoemen. The event is free of charge and will give sports fans a chance to see the strength gains that have been made by Yoe athletes during the off-season. It will also give the public a chance to see next year’s Yoemen Football players in action.

Brownwood does it. It has been successsful so far.

west columbia has been doin it ever since i have known, atleast when i was in middle school and up. it always seemed succesful

Bellville has doing it for at least the last 15 years at least, always a good turn out.

Sealy has a "Night Of Champions" that they've been doing for about three years usually at the end of May

2004 was the year we started I think. I think I ended up doing the most weight that year too. I'm a beast.
