Sinton vs. Ingleside

I just want to hear what our people have to say about this game. After the Taft game, I realized that I or we can take curtain teams for granted. I still say Sinton will win but will not say by how much. Good Luck and GO PIRATES & LADY PIRATES!!!

Believe it or not Sinton can clinch the district title with a win here and a Mathis loss.I'll say Sinton by 20.

I know our guys can beat Ingleside. I just hope they have a good week of practice & focus on this game b/c Ingleside has proven that they can win a *big* game. They beat Fal earlier in the year & have a young talented QB and team. It is Halloween night & anything can happen but I say Sinton by 21. GO PIRATES!!! and GOOD LUCK to the LADY PIRATES in their final district game tomorrow night against WEST OSO.

Sinton by 28. Sinton had over 400 yards of offense for the third straight week. Game was not as close as the score.
If Taft beats Mathis, and I think they have a very good chance if they play like they did against Sinton, they could make the play-offs as the third team. What a shake up!

Sinton has a little too much for Ingleside in my book. The games in Sinton so the boys will be up looking for these last two games to be playoff tuneups. They got some work to do cuz it looked like they weren't using their full playbook as they went back to the basics starting with the West Oso game. Defensively they are fine but still inconsistent on offense. If they get the O problems solved, this team will be better than most would expect. These young Pirates are ahead of schedule IMHO. Pirates by 21. Ingleside has been known to play the Pirates tough on occasion.

GO PIRATESIt is a very slim chance, but I think this is what would need to happen:

this week: Taft win (1-3), AP loss (1-3) and Ingleside loss (1-3)

next week: Taft win (2-3), Mathis loss (2-3), West Oso win (4-1)

that'll make the district standings:
Sinton 5-0
West Oso 4-1
Taft 2-3
Mathis 2-3 (with the tie-break going to Taft if Taft manages a win against Mathis)
Ingleside 1-4
AP 1-4

Is this right??? Now, I've confused myself. :rolleyes:

OR to simplify things: Taft needs to win their next 2 games & hope both Sinton & West Oso win their next 2 games wink

As much as I'd like to see Taft beat Mathis I just don't think that is gonna happen. frown

They are getting better every game. Coach Davis and his Staff are doing a great job. They are playing a 3A schedule with @ 345 kids in school. Thats 2A numbers.

I will be there Pirate and I usually join them for the smoke break even though I don't smoke but I may pass because Ingleside had a National Champion cheerleader that performed during the half time last year and I don't think she graduated so I don't want to miss that so I may pass at the break. But if you see me I will be wearing my black Spurs cap as usual.
