Ate at the Red Wagon on Sunday in Bwood. Pretty darn good and cheap if you get there early enough to beat all the smoke (which I did at 6:30 AM)....

2 eggs
ham, bacon, or sausage
hashbrowns
2 biscuits and gravy or toast

I can't remember but I think grits may have been an option to go with the toast if you choose toast

All for $3.53

I am ready for Brownwood to ban smoking in restaurants/public places. Then the Wagon will be acceptable.

Huevos rancheros, refried beans, home fries, crisp bacon, and freshly made corn tortillas!! Rarely indulge, but the Monterrey in Gonzales, Los Santos in LaVernia and Gems in Kingsville do it right.

+1. Make sure to have a lot of butter and pepper available. A biscuit wouldn't hurt either :).

My favorite would have to be some of my homemade brown 40W milk sausage gravy with biscuits or toast........good ol' S.O.S.:D Throw some slow-cooked diced taters with onions and I'm in hog heaven.:inlove: My wife and kids are always begging me to make it, but I only make it about once every couple of months.

Sat morning 14 mile run at 6 am followed by a big plate of 2 eggs, bacon, hasbrowns, a short stack pancakes, and side of toast either at Peacock's or Jake and Dorothy's in S'ville. Breakfast never taste better than after a long run.

Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs.

That's enough to put me in euphoria for the entire day.

Sometimes I like to get that combo for Brunch and/or Lunch.
