Just saw Kiper and McShays mock 1-10 NFL draft and the first 4 picks were all big 12 players... thought it reflected well on the conference.

1-bradford OU
2-suh NEB
3-mccoy OU
4-okung OSU

The Big 12 makes NFL players...the SEC makes college stars.

Well maybe not but it was fun to say out loud

Speaking of Texas' McCoy, I have a feeling that he's going to end up getting drafted in the first round...somewhere around 28-30. Some team that misses out on Bradford is going to trade up their early second round pick (Buffalo, Cleveland?) and another decent pick for the right to take McCoy. I don't have any inside info...I've just got a hunch.

As I have said Detroit can officially start the end of the Bobby Layne Curse by drafting Suh since he looks like he will be available. He is great and will be the type that makes other players on defense better. He is like Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor.
Also there is a good chance since they draft early in the second round that Colt will still be available and they should grab him if so. What better way to end a curse than with an ex UT QB since it was an ex UT QB that started it.

Good things may be going to happen for the Lions if they use these picks wisely and follow my good advice.

No chance Detroit takes Colt after picking Stafford last year.

I saw somebody talking about Clausen and their only knock on him was "hands werent big enough for cold weather"...despite the fact that this is going to be a non-skill dominated first round, this draft has a lot of talent in the skill positions. Bradford and Clausen are both going to be studs.
