As already reported it was Sinton 4 Orange Grove 3. Sinton is in second place at 8 -2.

Ingleside 14 Falfurrias 1 in 5 innings. Ingleside is in first place with a 10 - 0 record and in great shape to win the district.

Robstown 15 West Oso 0 in 4 innings. Robstown is right behind Sinton at 7 3 in district.

Unfortunately I don't have the results for Aransas Pass vs Mathis and I don't know the district records for Aransas Pass or Falfurrias.

Orange Grove is a good team and have given the leaders fits but they have been losing in district in close one or two run games that could have gone either way. Otherwise they would be in contention and perhaps maybe are the best team in the state that doesn't make the playoffs.

I will have to ask the Teenage Terminator what our district record is, I can't remember.

One word of advice, DO NOT speed on the highway between Sinton and Hwy 37. I got a ticket Friday on the way to the game. I got off for speeding (65 in a 55) got off for my expired registration sticker (new one in glove compartment) and got off for handing him my expired insurance card BUT my 14 yr old was laying down in the backseat with her ipod in her ears, so I got a ticket for her not being restrained. Grrrrrr.:mad: ;)
