Gonna happen at 7am on Sunday morning! More than a ton of dynamite will bring down the house that Tom kicked butt in for many years, and saw many great games. Makes me kinda :crying:

Makes me kinda :crying: That's going to be a little emotional for many people as they are really tied to that place. I went to two games there, it was such a great experience, I don't care how old that place was.

Strange the Cotton Bowl outlasted it.

I went to the final playoff game against the Giants a couple years back, it was my first time to go to Texas Stadium, despite the outcome of the game it was a remarkable experience

I think they could raise more money selling tickets to the demolition, if Jerry Jones personally pushed the detonator button from the 50 yard line.

Probably the greatest game in Texas Stadium history in terms of high schools

ROFL. Watched it go down about 7:07. They had charged 25 dollars per car. News said a 11 yr old who won a contest pushed the button.

That was kinda sad to watch.

Never had the honor of watching a Cowboys game, but was able to attend 3 or 4 HS games there!

was part of play off games there from 88-90 as a player..nd of course a TON of games from 2002-2008 as a broadcaster.

It had become a DUMP( even worse if you saw the behind the scenes in the press box area) but dang I miss that place, I miss setting up the broadcast equipment at 9AM knowing I was gonna be there till midnight or later doing games.

I saw Gainesville win a state championship there and the Eagles whoop up on the cowgirls more times than not in that building.. some great memories of that place even if it was the cowgirls home

really now? Including playoffs, the Eagles own a 14-25 record at Texas Stadium.

The first and the last two games I saw in there were both losses for the Eagles.. The first game was in circa 1995 and Emmit Smith ran for about 180 yards in the win.. the last game was the MNF game where Desean Jackson dropped the ball before crossing the end zone.. I also saw the game where Jeff Garcia then playing with the Eagles carved up the cowturds for the NFC East title, I also saw the 7-6 game in which Brian Westbrook kneeled down before the goalline at the end of the game. I saw one game from the "Moose seats" that the Eagles won like 21-7 the only touchdown for the cowgirls was from Michael Irvin in our end of the endzone. I saw another my junior year of high school that was a noon start and sat in the sun for 80% of the game, the heat sucked but the Eagles dominated.. So yea the games I saw the Eagles won more times than not

Well...I'm sure your insignificant little life is much nicer as a result of that.
