Uvalde and Seguin will kick off the football season in August at the 12th Texas Football Classic at the Alamodome.
The Coyotes and Matadors will meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the first of five high school games at the Alamodome that weekend. Abilene plays Belton at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27, and the Aug. 28 games will be a tripleheader of Richmond Foster vs. El Paso Hanks at noon, Gregory-Portland vs. Port Neches-Groves at 3:45 p.m. and Georgetown vs. Killeen Harker Heights at 7:30 p.m.
