Mueller was very sharp last night, had more velosity on his fastball and breaking pitch was working pretty well. With Mueller on the mound, Bellville will be in all games and hard to beat as long as they make the routine plays. His fastball topped out at 87 late in the game so he hard good pop, Coach Cerny still knows how to get the best out of his players.

Ouch! I got an early score on that one and assumed the Tigers had won.
Your girls made a nice comeback last night, though!

Sounds like some sour grapes, Coach Gonzales does a good job of coaching against us every year. We played them last week and I did not see him Walk any batters or commit any errors that cost his team the game, cannot blame the coach who is sitting on the bench.

In softball District 31AAA it was alos Ingleside 2 Robstown 1. This probably cinches the district for Ingleside. Also it was Aransas Pass 2 Orange Grove 1.

Do you know what the D31 softball standings are?
I think Ingleside needs to win 3 of their last 5 to cinch district.

We should have sealed it up but bats went cold for us and they got hot for them. Also they brought in Graylon and he pretty much shut us down from the sound of it. I did not attend but I am sure someone here did and could tell us more.

That pretty much sums it up, according to yesterdays paper. By the way. Brownwood has 4 distrirct wins (1 st place) and 3 of those games they were down by at least 5 runs and have made amazing comebacks.....
Did I mention our freshman softball picther throwing a perfect game Tuesday... Just checking

Just to be clear....Brownwood is not alone in first place in the current standings. There's another team that is 4-1 in district. I believe it is the team that handed Brownwood their one district loss so far, my friend. :p
There should be some good baseball and softball games this Friday! :)
