Lady Lions 4-0 under new head coach... pitching has been awesome. The two girls threw a combined no-hitter last night to take over 1st place in the district.. way to go Lady Lions!

After more research at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times web site other finals in this district last night were:

Falfurrias 19 Aransas Pass 4 in 5 innings
West Oso 5 Mathis 0
Ingleside 12 Orange Grove 0

The District Standings with one game left in the first half of the district season are as follows:

1. Ingleside 6 - 0
2. Sinton 5 - 1
3. Robstown 4 - 2
4. Falfurrias 4 - 2
5. Aransas Pass 3 - 3
6 & 7. Tie between West Oso and Orange Grove at 1 - 5 each
8. Mathis 0 - 6

The big games on Tuesday are Falfurrias at Sinton and Ingleside vs Aransas Pass.

Sinton will be home team most of the rest of the season due to having to play out of town most of the first half of the district because of construction at the softball field. The last game of the season will be out of town at Falfurrias.
