Not for sure if he applied for job but if he did I would say he would be strongly considered, There is a committee that will pick the new AD/HC and as far as anyone being the leading candidate I would say that would be nothing more then a rumor.

nobody is a leading candidate at the moment from what I understand. Let's keep the rumors down and let the process play out.

What is his record at Schulenburg? Has he made the playoffs? How far did they go?

It's not what he has done at Schulenburg in the last couple of years, he was at Columbus a number of years ago when the Schobel boy's were there. Then went on and coached at Boerne and then Schulenburg, he has a couple of sons one is in 10th and the other is in the 8th. Both are very good athlete's in all sports and the older one is a stud in all sports and is a QB. Quailty Coach with good athletic sons.

I know one of the brothers coaches a little league team and he is a _ouche and yells at the kids...but thats my prospective on one of them, I dont know about the ones that went to the NFL.

Bo, Matt, and Aaron went to the NFL. Aaron is contemplating retirement.

Another one Ryan owns the Schobels restaurant in New Braunfels.

To be honest probably 90% of what is posted here about coaches are rumors and about 50% of that 90% turns out to be about right half of the time.
