First Day of Full Contact and Pads

Tomorrow the men and the boys will part company. The first day of pads and full contact practice. Payback for the cheap shots the eager newbies have given the veterans in helmets and T-shirts. Now we will see who has been training all summer and who's been fillin' up on Boudin sausage!

I feel like a kid on the night before Christmas. All the kids that talk a big game find out just how bad they are(or aren't). I was just wondering have any other schools went to the new Ridell helmets? Our coaches at Barbers Hill have put us in about 5 or 6 of them. I guess just seeing if we like them.

Yes, La Grange went to them this year and I'm told they are lighter and more comfortable. They are better ventilated as well.
