OOPS, sorry Yoe_09... I had an end-of-sixth inning score of 7-0....however, BC Pitched two more Pitchers in the--seventh-- and the ending score was 8-3.

I didn't see the boys game, but I know that Masek was scheduled to pitch - don't know if he pitched the complete game. I believe Bellville had a LH pitcher on the mound.

We have nothing bad to say about Giddings! They are perfection and truely are fun to watch! These young men really work hard at perfecting the game! Masek pitched a no hitter until the 4th inning when Peschel got a single! In the 5th Garrett singled and Kovar doubled which led to a perfect relay at home plate to end the game and save the skunk!!! Bellville pitched 3 pitchers, Gaddy, Hromadka, and Garrett, all of whom were pitching their first varsity games! No excuses here, Giddings has a phenominal team with a great group of young men who love The Game!!!!

I would have been surprised to see Mueller pitch against Giddings, I would bet Coach Cerny is going to pitch Kyle against teams that he knows he has to beat to make the playoffs. You can bet we will see him when we play, we have Giddings Saturday in La Grange.

You are absolutely correct, Hook. I completely understand the reason why. Its just sad to see Bellville playing for 2nd so early on. I was really hoping to see a great pitching match up and maybe the chance of Bellville to knock off the big dog.
