I read an articale today about a man in California serving the 2nd or 3rd year of an 8 year sentence for vehicular manslaughter. He drove right into the back of a car stopped in front of him and killed three people inside, including a baby and a 4- or 6-year-old little girl. His claim? The Toyota he was driving accelerated to speeds of between 75-95 mph with him trying to brake unsuccessfully. Looks like they may reopen his case now.
