A Danish mother has caused fury after dressing up her baby daughter to look like the world's most evil leaders, The Sun reported on Thursday.

Artist Nina Maria Kleivan snapped one-year-old Faustina as despots including Hitler, Idi Amin and Joseph Stalin.

Saddam Hussein, Augusto Pinochet and Chairman Mao are also featured.

She made the tiny uniforms, gave Faustina a make-up mustache for some of the photos - and sent them on a touring exhibition to explore "the meaning of evil".

"It was strange to see her dressed as Hitler, but I thought of her as a doll," she said.

"It was very difficult for me to sew the swastika on her little sleeve."

Nina - whose dad was held in a German prisoner of war camp - added: "We all have evil within. Even my daughter could end up ruling Denmark with an iron fist."

Bernie Farber, of the Canadian Jewish Congress, said: "Surely, there's a better way to explore evil than to throw a swastika on a baby."

The question on the video (which I couldn't get to open) asked.... "Art or child abuse?"

It was definitely a weird thing to do, but it seems like most artists are weird.

As far as child abuse? That child had no idea what it was being dressed as....and if it wasn't slapped around between takes, I don't see how they could classify it as child abuse.

Not child abuse, no....but if I worked for CPS I'd be keeping an eye on this woman, because she's got issues and doesn't mind involving her daughter in them.

I don't know if it's child abuse in the traditional sense, but how would you like to be in your 20's in this day and age of the interwebz with pics of you dressed as Hitler? How about High School?

Nope,they are costumes nothing else..It does not become child abuse because we dont like who she is dressing the child up as. She is not doing it because she is supporting those people, but as art..stupid art..yes..but art.

I have seen ... many times ... parents dressing their kids up as witches, goblins, monsters and such. Is that child abuse?

Nope.

But,when they dress their daughters up as the dreaded "princess", holy moly, ABUSE ABUSE ABUSE!
