I kind of like the idea that he is questioning teams that play- weak sisters- that can easily beat weak to boost better win/loss stats.

I like the polls to reflect the "strength of competition" factor added to the equation! lol

Yeah I'd say he kinda called out Van. They have played a lot of 4A & 5A's but only 1 of them was ranked. #11 4A Hallsville and Van lost that game. Van other loss was to #6 2A Grand Saline by a run. Personally, I think Van is a top team but a little high at #4. But keep in mind Van graduated their ace pitcher and is getting it done with I think a freshman & sophmore. They should get better later in the season. Van has been good for so long they get benifit of the doubt. Afterall, it's hard to argue with 8 straight district championships, regional championships and 2 state tourny's in the last 8 years.

Interesting analysis Sir.....Has Van pitted themselves against any of those prime teams in Region III or on down the coast?

Graduation has a lot to do with Needville, they are still good but their main pitcher is not an overpowering thrower. She has to have great defense behind her and a lot of that D has graduated.
