Tiger Woods announced Tuesday that he will begin his 2010 season at the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in April.

"The Masters is where I won my first major, and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I'm ready to start my season at Augusta.

I think he chose the Masters because of the type of crowd it brings. I don't see much heckling going on there.

He's admitted his mistakes, taken steps to change his life style, apologized and asked for forgiveness from his wife for his mistakes. Why doesn't he deserve another chance?

I think he picked the Masters because of the high profile of the event, AND the strict security and media control that Augusta imposes throughout the tourney. He'll be able to control the media there better than at any other event. I just wish we could just watch golf without all the hoopla over him.

Did anyone ever think for a second when all this came out Tiger was actually going to miss the Masters?

Tiger will be back... He may not win, but he will be a factor, provided he has taken time to refocus.

One thing for sure. He will not get heckled at the Masters. The gallery will be full of security and one "out of line comment" and that person will be off the course in a NY minute.

I hope he wins, I dont agree with what he dd in his personal life, but he is one heck of a golfer and I would love to see him win it and then walk up for his interview afte winning it and just calmly say, "I'm the best at putting it in the hole" and walk away

I think Steve his caddy is the one that will need to be watched... people may heckle Tiger, Like Get in the hole, again... and Steve will go ballistic while Tiger may not even shrug or bat an eye...

however, Tiger winning the tournament will only show how terrible golf really is... the tour has nobody... I mean nobody... I think it takes away from how good Tiger really is... right now it would be like Kobe and LeBron playing in the NCAA tournament... who has won now that Tiger is gone?

Nobody huh? How much golf do you play? There is plenty of talent on the tour right now.

I think we don't know who has won with Tiger gone for a few reasons, he is the face of the tour and all the media coverage has been on him and no one else and have they played any majors yet? Thats about the only time Tiger plays anyways. The tour is stacked full of talent, probably some of the best top to bottom that the game has seen.

When Tiger is playing, he doesn't win every tourney he plays in. I wouldn't put an asterisk next to anyone's win during this sans-Tiger period. You're right about him playing mainly in majors. When he's available to play, there are many big events he doesn't show up for. I was always appalled when he didn't show up for the Buick when they were one of his big sponsors.

No...I was flipping through the channels last night and heard them talking about it on the Joy Behar show.

Evidently his porn star mistress released them....although on the advice of Gloria Allred, she didn't release her side of the conversation.

From what the 3 people who read them were saying....if they tried to read them on air, it would have been a constant BLEEEEEP....that is how bad they were.

Here is a little more info:

Gloria still thinks her client didn't do anything wrong. She, Gloria Allred, really needs to go on a hunting trip with a former VP :D
