Congrats to Coach Rogers and the Snyder staff for filling their 7 on 7 Qualifier on May 22....great accomplishment for a first year tournament. Here is the field:

Brownwood's really good at 7 on 7 but Snyder is also....I think those 2 qualify

Now that Sweetwater QBs have finally been clued in on passing a football, we might actually be competitive in this 7 on 7 thing some day.

Sweetwater has some good athletes, they were competitive in the Brownwood tournament last year and I imagine they'll be even better this year and could qualify for state! I think they are going back to Brownwood on June 26 and I'm sure Abilene Wylie would love to have them at their tournament at June 5

The good folks at Snyder hooked me up w/two nights also!! Can't wait to visit..need suggestions on good spots to eat in town now..

Nice. Can't help you on where to eat. But, I will say that I was surprised
that Big Spring didn't sign up for the competition.

We'll for what it's worth. Two years ago I was driving back from the Panhandle after watching a team I follow closely win a playoff game. I turned my radio to the West Texas Scoreboard Show. After running a few scores by they had an interview with the Big Spring HC and if I didn't know better I would've thought Lane Kiffen was being interviewed. I just thought the similarities were ironic.

I forget what its called, but I think its the old train depot station, about 2 blocks east of the court house. Good steaks and burgers.
Theres also a good mexican food place just north of downtown a few blocks thats pretty decent.

Not many choices! Skeets is wonderful! Momallys is a steak house there it is good but very high! I like the taqueria place across from CVS. I will say you can practically hit any burrito shop in town and you will not be disappointed.

So far we have Ex-Tiger 2005 and me attending...I have a feeling Black Magic will be in the house also.....anyone else planning on making it?? Surprised the Sweetwater contingent is not in on this considering the Mustangs have a chance to make a good showing.
