Smithson Valley 14, Cuero 3

Connor Snoga went 4 for 4 with five RBIs, including pair of two-run home runs to lead Smithson Valley to a 14-3 rout of Cuero on the final day of the Comal ISD tournament on Saturday.

Matt Bienek went 2 for 3 with a three-run homer in third for the Rangers.

In Friday’s late game, Kyle Gottardy gave up just four hits and struck out eight in leading the Rangers to a 10-5 win over Antonian.

Bienek and Gottardy were named to the all-tournament team.

Killeen Ellison 10,

Canyon 3

Tyler Figol and Blaine Brucks each drove in a run, but Canyon dropped a 10-3 decision to Killeen Ellison on Saturday.
