Texas came back from a 10-3 deficit to tie the game in the sixth.took the lead in the 7th 13-10,but Maryland came back with 4 runs to win the game.Exciting game to watch.

You're right, that was a good comeback. I thought that the last play of the game the kid from New England might have been out. Can't fault the umpire too much though, it was a great game and very well played.
Notice how ESPN didn't show too many highlights of the play at first that scored the winning run.

It wouldn't change the outcome of the game but it is relevant! ESPN should have shown the play several times and it should have been analyzed very closely. Come on ESPN! First you ignore the CAT and now this!! (Notice Texans are involved in both cases unfavorably?)

What am I missing, Phil? If he was out at first wouldn't the game still be tied? It would have gone into more innings, wouldn't it? ARe you saying the Texas guys would have lost eventually?

That game was so exciting that I watched it instead of the Astros. I think the kid was out...oh well, great game. I'm still sick to my stomach. frown

Wrong word on my part Trojan and thank you for pointing it out. I meant to say It won't change the outcome of the game since the call has been made and the game is over. Certainly I would have liked for the game to have been tied at that point and seen what would have happened in overtime. Some people today said they saw the replay in slow motion on ESPN after all and that he was definitely out but it was very close especially for a split second judgement call.

Most of the news media covering the story are saying the same thing. I've heard three different reports today, and all three said he was out.
