They didn't just beat West Oso they dominated them for the second straight year. Stafford will make some noise at the state tourny. Will they beat Madison, who knows, but they will give them a good game. Stafford plays the best help man to man defense I have seen at a high school level. They completely shut down Oso. Oso had no answer and appeared fustrated offensively. Stafford shows they were deserving of the early polls that had them #2, even though they have had some bumps along the way.

Sweeny beat Stafford two out of three times this year. They should of played a fourth game in Corpus:mad:

Good Luck to Stafford WIN STATE!!!!! Stafford and Sweeny are always both good...and give each other bumps and bruises. Our district is just pretty dang good when it comes to basketball. :)

Shame they can't put together a football team. Nice to see them doing basketball well though.
