Was listed by S/I as a slider for the draft. Quote: Slow in the 40. then displayed limited quickness and route running skills during the practice session. Scouts must now decide if Shipley is a legitimate NFL receiver or a product of the spread offense at Texas.. I would take my chances. I believe he will do well in the pros..

Saw him in H.S. games. He was the fastest thing on the field.

I heard he has been doing the drills with something pulled in his leg. He still has the Texas pro day to impress teams. Plus he still has amazing hands

I know I'm a homer from Burnet, but if someone doesn't put their NFL uniform on Shipley they are dumb-asses !!!! He will produce; look back at his slow start at UT (he dang sure got over that).

It really amazes me how some on this board always have to snip at players just because they didn't anoint them personally. I feel it is absolutely wonderful how many former 3A players are in the NFL now.

Shipley will get drafted...the question is whether it will be in the second round, or possibly falling to the 4th-5th range.
