230-pound USC safety Taylor Mays lit up the stopwatches with an unreal 4.24:
that'll get U down the fenceline................HOW WOULD U LIKE TO SEE THAT COMING DOWNHILL AND COME SCREAM'EN OVER THE TOP

but his official time was 4.43! i think the were blowing smoke with that time!

I'm not sure that is an OFFICIAL TIME, Spillar ran an unoficial 4.28 which was later announced as a 4.37

The fastest time so far was a 4.28 and it was ran by jacoby ford from Clemson.

What about the sprinter from LSU? Holliday is his name I think? Word had it that he wanted to challenge the RB from Tennessee Titans.

The last time I heard he ran 4.31...but some of the times have changed since I checked on them.

The most impressive combine I've seen aside from Chris Johnson ripping off a 4.24 would have to be Vernon Davis at 6'3" 253 pounds ripping off the following


40 - 4.38
Bench - 33 reps
vertical - 42"
