im from rockdale and were 2-1 we lost 2 bellville in week 0 and then beat giddings and elgin last two weeks.

The reason we lost to Bellville is because we didin't have a key reciever and our defence isn't as good as they are playing now.

Caldwell's freshman team is exceptional with a 3-0 record. Its closest game was 35-6 vs. Madisonville. Average win margin has been 34 points.

I wouldn't get to excited just yet. Elgin's freshman team won one game in 2001 and gave ya'll all you could handle. I believe they were winning at halftime.

well your right we do need lot of work but the reason we were loosing we had 3 or 4 turnovers in the first half but we did come back and win.

It doesnt matter who was winning at half time its who WON the game. Elgin was a solid team who gave an awesome fight. Last year is last year its a whole new season with new players, plays, and coaches put it in the past dude. Elgin came out playing hard and had us 8-14 at half but second half we came out and we held Elgin to 53 yards and scored twice top take the game 23-14. - J.G.

all i can tell u about lorena froshis that they when they played Fairfield they tied like 13-13

Hey Super_Fan, keep me posted regularly on how Caldwell's teams are doing this season (injuries, grades, etc.) Tell the varsity players that the kicking team needs more hang time to allow time to get downfield and trash the punt or kickoff returners with poor field position. I've noticed the team does better when they back the team up to the end zone - more momentum, etc. and it gives us good field position when they punt on fourth down. The band (drummers) need to get the fans going more. In the early 80's, the band got down. I remember when the band would play "Hot Stuff" and a song called "Championship" and the team would score within 5 or 6 plays! Bands can really pump up the tem...Ahh, the good ole' days.....

Caldwell blasted Smithville freshman THursday by 30-plus and I heard that our younger freshmen actaully beat Hearne's JV by 20 last week. The future's so bright, we gotta wear shades, baby!
