If Navasota's girls won 28 in a row before losing three in a row to Madisonville, I would be very afraid of the Lady Mustangs! VERY AFRAID!

doesn't the uil seed the teams based records...I thought it was the two best records...would be seeded opposite and than the final two teams would be placed in seeds against those two teams.

There seems to be alot of inaccuracy in the records posted at various sites, so who knows how the teams will be seeded once it is all sorted out.

No seeding it is set up in the bracket. giddings will play LE and wylie vs madisonville.

Giddings vs LE Thats what I saw, but I am told it is not accurate. Where this other guy came up with Madisonville/ LE I don't know. I have checked UIL and no times are posted.

The UIL has developed a great formula for selecting pairings for the state tournament.
They seed the first two teams and then the remaining teams flip a coin to decide who plays whom. :clap: :clap:

Might I suggest a good game of rock, paper, scissors instead.:D

Looks like Wylie and Giddings will meet in the Semi Finals in Austin.

I've seen previews for Giddings and LE, however I don't know anything about Madisonville. Can anyone provide any insight into them? Such as, What makes Madisonville tick? Who are the players to watch? Do they run and gun or play ball movement and high percentage shots?

They count on speed and ball movement to get open shots. I am told that they do not possess super depth and can be susceptiable to foul problems. This is all coming from a "level2" source.
