This should be a good game. I think LEs 12 girls vs Kennedales 8 will be the difference.

LE must stop #3 from Kennedale as she scored 25 of their 61 points last night. The Lady Leopards must keep the pace fast and not let Kennedale hold the ball and rest.

Kennedale will have to find an answer for 44 and 35 in the post. Then they will have to stop 2 23 from dribble penetrating. Then LE will begin subbing in any combination of players constantly.

Kennedale runs a great press and did not make it to the Final 8 by luck I hope LE is up to the challenge. Defense will win this game.

That was the horribiest job I have ever seen by 1 referee. He in a matter of seconds almost cost these girls all they had worked so hard to reach. He called traveling on 1 posession when our player was pused. We then stole the ball and were driving down for a layup and he decides that there was a foul on the steal. Kennedale then shoots and he call a touch foul for an and1.

That was horrible!!

Thank goodness it didn't cost these ladies.:clap: :clap:

It was a very exciting game. A battle to the wire. Kennedale missed 3/4 from the line to set it all up. It wasn't the defense, but the difference in fatigue that decided this one. Down 7 with less than a minute... Wow my heart is still racing.

We'll see your boys Monday night! Hope your girls do well in Austin. Looks like Dallas Madison will be tough to beat on the boys side though.

I don't know if I will make Monday night. The 1st is always hectic and Commerce is a long drive.

It should be a good game. Van/LE have a few common opponents in Brownsboro, Kemp, Bullard and New Boston. I believe LE lost to BB,Bullard and NB but also beat NB and Kemp. Van beat BB, Bullard, Kemp and NB but also lost a game to Bullard and Kemp (how I dont know we beat em by alot the 1st time). Depending on which Van team shows up we could give LE a good game. We played horrible the 1st half vs. NB and were up 22-21 at the half. We had a great 3rd though and outscored NB 21 to 3. LE's athleticism will give us fits though.

This is their first year under a new coach and it was kinda ugly there for a little bit.
