Good Grief! Here we go again. They banned baseball because either the USA or Cuba won. Then they banned softball because either the USA or Japan won. Both those sports had other good teams that were competitive too.
We're fortunate that they kept basketball because for most of the early years it was USA with amatures beating other teams' pros.

Way to go Canadians. It is ok to celebrate but do it with better taste (pun intended). That action has put this sport in jeopardy of being banned. The men have shown more class than you. It may be a while before Canada hosts the Olympics.

no Phil ----- its not the celebration that has this sport on the endangered list, its the lack of competitive teams

Take the USA and Canada out though, and you've got a bunch of competitive teams. It's not our fault that we and the Canadians have far superior teams.

Poor decision on the Canadian girls part, but I don't think it is any more than a "wrist slapping" offense.

Getting drunk and smokin' cigars sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a gold medal.

i wonder which biased judged sport will go in it's place...this seems to be what we keep getting more and more of...i guess another jumping event where they spin around in the air a bunch...its impressive but i really dont see the difference in the top 5 or 6 guys, the ones past that normally fall or something ot make it obvious...

If you watch the figure skating, its seems like they already have it planned out who is going to get 1,2,3.

nah, i just wouldnt complain about having to watch it come olympic time....for it to be winter i think they still have to have it on ice if it is indoors, i think its safer to have it in the summer olympics adjacent to beach volleyball...maybe even around the court or something

It could easily be totally objective. The dancer who collects the most $ wins! No judges, but plenty of audience participation. This is from rumor and hearsay as I am not and will not be present!!!!!

Hey 3afan do you think the world will ban war since most countries can't compete with the USA, Russia & China?
