do sports on tv not start at the top of the hour? It's always like at 10 07 or 7:05...

I think it has something to do with commercials. You start at 7 and then get all the advertisement out of the way before kickoff/tip off/whatever. Everything is about the money these days.

you re prob right...its just annoying that the cavs game hasnt started yet and its 7:13 and it says tipoff is at 7

Hmm, that is strange.

I remember some team that started their games at 7:11 a few years back because 7-11 sponsored the first pitch. I think it was the White Sox, but I might be wrong.
