Per the Statesman:

Giddings 78, Sam Houston 61: Giddings ran out to a 20-point halftime lead and cruised past San Antonio Sam Houston in a 3A regional quarterfinal at Luling High. Kayla Winkfield scored 26 points for Giddings (28-7), which will play Hondo in the regional semifinals.
