Most played last year, but when you play a great program like Carthage early in year it can look bad. Especially when part of your team is playing basketball. I have nothing against baseball, except it is boring to watch. I thought that in 06 and 07 as well.

So no young Will Middlebrooks this year huh? We're awfully young also and our best pitcher and hitter transferred because his dad was upset that coach wouldn't tell him he could play shortstop. BTW we have a great shortstop. His dad really screwed him up because they ruled he transferred for athletic reasons and the school he transferred to doesnt even have a JV team so he's losing his junior year.

If baseball is boring for you to watch then you may be watching some bad baseball being played, if you are watching good baseball you should not be bored. Baseball is definitely not for everyone however when played right it is the best show on dirt. just my 2 cents.

I guess I am. 06 I watched an SC team and in 07 I watched a Finalist. I guess the best games I can say I saw were some of our matchups with Forney back in the Segovia days. :D

We do need someone to step up on the mound. Our best pitcher transferred to the Grove when his dad was named Asst coach, and we lost a bat also as a kid that wanted to catch, refused to move to 1st base. We should field an average team this year and next will be interesting going into this new district.

We face Segovia in the State Championship game, that was not a boring game. We beat Forney that year in Football and Baseball for the State Champinship.
