Our forecast went from 3 - 5 inches 3 days ago, to 1 - 3 inches yesterday, to "no traceable amount of snow accumulation" about 3 hours ago...and the latest "forecast" is: Snowfall of less than half an inch through 3am.

So..it will probably stay dry here!

Oh you sissies quit your crying. I just drove from Holdrege Nebraska to Norfolk Nebraska. Saw more snow in one day than in my entire life. Some snowbanks on the sides of the roads are 8' to 10' high. Saw some drifts about the same. I think the warmest it got here today was 26. Probably close ot 0 now. At least there isnt any snow falling. All of the parking lots have got so many huge mounds of snow, there isnt much room to park cars. They look more like snow storage lots than parking lots. I have to drive up near the South Dakota border tomorrow to look at a project site. Something tells me all Im going to see is a bunch more snow. Ehh, beats setting in the office all day, pounding on the computer I guess.

At least they do a pretty good job of clearing the main roads and streets, so driving isnt really that bad. But I've got to get on some back roads tomorrow, so it may get a little crazy. I'll just put er in 4 low, and keep moving. If you dont hear from me by sundown, send the South Dakota rescuers out looking for me. And tell em to bring hot totties with them.:D

For once we are getting snow here in the Permian Basin!

Already an inch down in Odessa.

I just wish it would snow a foot, like it used to in Northwest where I grew up.

It started snowing out in the field I'm working in in Jewett at 8:30 this morning, and it never stopped. I drove home through complete snow cover all the way to south of College Station before I started seeing green again. Now Navasota is almost covered in snow. What is wierd for me is that this is the third time this year I have seen snow accumulation, and twice in two weeks at that!

Thanks! No hot toddies.:( Also, had to hike about 1/4 mile to farmhouse in deep snow, and wind was blowing about 20 mph. I havent been that cold in a long long time. My feet are still cold. But I'll be heading home by Friday. Yall be sure and get all that that cold weather and snow out of there by then. I'm expecting nothing less than 70 degrees days when I get there.
