a thread i read earlier got me thinking about censorship on teleision. why do they censor certain words butnot others. they will say Bee Eye Tee See H all the want to but the censor shi*. also when someone calls somebody else an arse hole they say arse but beep out hole...why is this?

There are 7 words that are absolute "beeps". It has something to do with the human anotomy in a vulgar manner and such it gets "beep". George Carlin once did a bit on it. Howard Stern was absolutely hilarious when he would skirt around the words.
