Anybody out there have any softball tournament scores, in particular the Waxahachie tournament?

Found what I was looking for from another West parent. West softball team played in Waxahachie tournament this weekend, 6 games, 99 runs scored, 2 runs allowed. Way to go girls!

Liberty Hill girls go 4-2 in Marble Falls tournament this weekend..

They went 1-2 on Thursday...then 3-0 on Thursday, with wins over Austin Crockett (7-1), Saginaw (6-4) and Marble Falls (10-6).

Here's the scary story from the tourney:
LH starting pitcher Paige Holland was walking to the ladies' room on Thursday while some players from another team were playing (old school term here) "pepper" at the Optimist Field (which had very short fences along the baselines). A batted ball went over the fence - and clipped Holland right in the ear! From what she told me: She started bleeding and (obviously) had a major headache. She ended up getting 17 stitches in her ear.

The good news: She was back Saturday and pitched her team to victories over Crockett and Marble Falls. We're all glad that Paige was okay and able to come back so soon!
