Financial Aid

So I just got an email from the university that I'm not particularly happy with.


"A portion of designated tuition paid as a result of your registration payment may be
set-aside to provide financial assistance to students as required by Sections 56.011,
56.012, 56.465, and/or 56.095 of the Texas Education Code."


I dont really understand why you have to pay extra money for others to get aid...

I am sure people that live in a school district that have no children attending would agree with that. Guess it didnt matter when other people were paying for your k-12 education....

This is set aside for other college students financial aid, and im not saying i didnt get fin aid because i did, but why give the money then set it aside for others? The way i see it, either dont give me the aid, lower tuition that amount or let me use it...

It also said "may be", not that it was. Sort of difficult to complain about a process you are benefitting from, right?
