This is probably going to be one of the best games this district has to offer during the regular season. Orangefield is definitely capable of playing Anahuac a close game. I feel as if this will be a close game. Actually, whoever turns the ball over the least, and can stay away from mental breakdowns will pull away with the victory. I sure hope Orangefield notices the "air attack" yardage vs. Anahuac.

Prediction:
Orangefield 34 ---- Anahuac 33

I won't be surprised if it's much worse.

i think anahuac will come out on top, they are a pretty good team this year as far as all of the players acting together, orangefield has a good air game which might break open but until then its anahuac

ANAHUAC HAS TOO MUCH SPEED AND HAS A HARD HITTING DEFENSE. I HAVE SEEN BOTH TEAMS PLAY . I HAVE TO PICK ANAHUAC.

That's the same thing everyone said about Bridge City, they have too much speed for Orangefield. If Orangefield can establish their running game early, I think they will have a good chance.

The referee made a bad call his knee was down on the half yard line. But a win is a win!

Ok, maybe he didn't get in, but remember there was a defensive holding penalty on B.C. on the play. So therefore Orangfield gets the ball on the one for the try. The way our offensive line played that night, I like our chances of scoring the 2 points from the one.

This should be a good game. Orangefield could win but, how will the react after an hard and emotional win over BC? Anahuac has a good team also but, they have not been challenged during the past few games so how will they react agianst A much better team? Whoever can get up for the game and controll the ball without turnovers will win.

Anahuac 22
Orangefield 21

Im gonna say Anahuac 28 - Orangefied 14, Orangefield cought some breaks against BC but I think that Anahuac is just an all around better team then Orangefield.

So Fridaynight Fan, because of one play during that game, forget about all the other plays. Were you at the game? Did you see Orangefield physically whip Bridge City all over the place? I did and Bridge City posters on this board will tell you the same. Orangefield had over 300 yards total offense to Bridge City's 162. Bridge City only gained 62 yards in the second half. Orangefield also had over 130 yards in penalties that killed several drives in Cardinal territory. Bottomline, no one expected Orangefield to win last week and no one expects them to win this week. That's fine, matter of fact that's exactly what we want. This year and last, Orangefield was picked in the bottom half of the district. Keep picking us there people. Some games do come down to one play, but not last weeks.

I think that the game is going to turn out alot different than alot of people think it will. People picked us to only beat HF by 7 some picked us to lose and we ended up winning 36 to 10 but I know that the banged up Anahuac defense will rise up to the challenge.

As long as Anahuac gets their offense rolling early than they shouldn't have a problem.

Its raining pretty hard in Anahuac and it could have a big effect on the game.

The field condition is gonna play a big part tonight. It's still raining here in Bridge City, and we got SIX inches of it yesterday evening. I haven't seen these guys play in these conditions before. Cards gonna have to buckle down and take care of business tonight.

If Anahuac can stop the Modica/Hamrick connection, they will win this one. If not, Orangefield will pull a upset tonight. wink

The game has changed due to the rain this will help OF.Anahuac has alot of speed which will slow them down. Turn overs will be the difference.

I went by and checked out the field, it doesn't look to bad. As long as the rain holds off tonight there should be a descent playing field.

Its probobaly gonna be a swamp in BC. I watched one of the nastiest games Ive ever seen in my life last year when Anahuac went to Hardin. Hours before the game they had a pump on the field to get some of the water off. I hope it dont get to bad over in BC and good luck to the Cards, come out with a victory.
