The teams in the Golden Triangle (Beaumont area) are looking more like basketball teams than baseball teams. Lot's of time in the gym.

We've managed to get outside 3 times in the 2 weeks we've been able to practice. Still haven't taken a single round of infield as the skinned area is roughly the consistency of pudding. Mound and plate are tarped off though so if we can get some sun and some wind and get the dirt opened up Saturday hopefully we can make a go of it starting next week.

West was able to work in a scrimmage last night against Alvarado. On Saturday we travel to Lake Worth for JV and Varsity.

Both of these teams really looked good. Nederland's star Pitcher Bellows will return from an injury next week.

Hicks, Zoch, Hubbard & Menard-- looked fast an aggressive from the mound.
