Without "extras" what did the original tortilla burger consist of from Tasty Taco. Oh this is for people who are from the Sinton area. Sorry.:D

It's pretty much like you'd build a custom hamburger, except it's between two flour tortillas. Then you add jalapenos and cheese.I grill mine over mesquite and season the meat with coarse ground black pepper and garlic salt.There are a few on here that can tell you how good they are.

However, he's asking about the original that was invented at Tasty Taco in Sinton.

The McDonalds version is a travesty compared to some ones I've had in Sinton.

I've also heard talk of even better ones that have a homemade touch to them.

Damn, I'm getting hungry just typing about them....

Alright the original tortilla burger was 2 flour tortillas with hamburger patty pickles, onions,cheese and refried beans. HA ha you thought it was somethin special didn't ya. :D You had to ask for the extras.

I can't believe none Sintonites didn't know that. I must be older than I thought. Ya'll don't know who the original owner was either I guess, huh. Lot better food back then. Which is why I won't eat there anymore. Flores is the best Mexican Restuarant in Sinton now.
