We beat them by a decent margin between 6 to 10 points I cant remember in our home gym. We went to play them in Brownsboro and we were winning by 1 and they missed a shot and the clock hit 0 and the game was over. However, Brownsboro officiating is notorious for homerism puts 1 second back on the clock and they run an inbounds play and hit a buzzer beater. Not blaming the refs or anything we still should of stopped the inbounds play and everything but does that sound like a situation were one team should be 16 and the other not ranked?

I understand that there was still a question as to if she got shot off in time, but that's basketball.

You can't catch dribble and shoot in .6 seconds next to impossible actually it may be physically impossible it takes at least .3 to catch and shoot and thats basically a shotput right when it hits the hands. Not to mention the time probably shouldnt of been on the clock to begin with...

The main thing I heard was it was closer to .10 than .06 in elapsed time. I do not understand how they do not have a scoreboard that acurately reflects game time. It would certainly be helpful.

D14,

Canton girls are the best team but not that great.

Van boys won district but Wills Point is good as well. Two good solid teams that can beat anybody on a given night but honestly neither is a threat to make it to Austin.

Thats kinda the boat LE is in. Girls are solid, definately think they could make region tourney and possibly Austin. Boys are 2-3 rounds at best.

Heck yeah. We've always been pretty strong in girls' sports. Good to see our girls getting some wins against a power like West Oso. The Bears don't let that happen too often.

Know anything about the West Oso boys? Are they as good as the WO teams from the late-90's?

in Kaufman, the clock can show 0:00 but in actuality there can be 0:00.99 left but it doesnt show it on clock

West Oso boys are pretty awesome. They had 15 players on varsity last week in Ingleside and they are all very good. They do have one weakness. When they get a big lead in the first half they seem to get a little lazy in the second half. This hasn't hurt them in district but they better not do that in the playoffs. From what I saw this may be the best team they have ever had if they will hustle the whole game.

Impressive. That last time I remember them having a state championship-caliber team (not just a team who was outclassed at the State Tourney) was 2000, but I haven't seen them play in probably five years.

Good stuff. Sounds like the district is poised for another long run through the playoffs.
