LOL...lots of Sinton koolaid being consumed around here......even though Ingleside has won the district 3 out of the last 4 yrs and the year (this past season) they didn't win it...they split it. :devil:

Mustangs will win it this coming season too. :wave:

I think you forgot Bandera is in same district as Wimberley. Plus you have Boerne in there that made sure all althetes are in the 3a school instead of the 4a one. Considering the district I am not sure Bandera even makes the playoffs.

Doesn't sound like whining to me. IHstang just disagrees with the poll. He states that Ingleside will win the district not Sinton.
I don't think Sinton will win the district. I think it will be Ingleside or Mathis and I'm not going to state past records because it doesn't matter. What matters is the upcoming year. The district title is not an entitlement for Sinton until somebody takes it away. You will have to win it first.

In the last 4 yrs....Ingleside has won two titles, Sinton one, and this year was a 3 way split. I still like Ingleside's chances and expect them to win in 2010-11 as well.

I wouldn't go that far. Experience is something that will be missed. The Buckeyes lost a lot of key players. Replacing players like Stump Godfrey, Vance Green, Tevin Godfrey, Kedon Franklin, Braylon Webb, Mikey Wilson, Luis Castro, Beau Blair, Tristen Holt, Jacob Jenkins, etc...., and the talent and experience they had will be hard to replace. The thing is the Buckeyes don't rebuild, they reload. How good they become this year will depend on how quickly these positions are filled with the right personnel, and how quickly they gel as a team. The Buckeyes will be younger this year with a lot of juniors starting. The Buckeyes should be a little bigger, but it's hard to be better than being the state champions.:eek:
