Just curious?? I now that these selections are totally subjective, but how does an AP All-State selection Cameron Bailey (Graham) RB 1500 Yds, 25 td's on a State finalist team not get a selection; especially with the # of players (which each very much deserved) that were chosen at that position......WoW!!!!! Some things cease to amaze me. I have never posted before, but this baffles me. Of course being a Graham fan I am bias, but he is an amazing player that even if you never got a chance to see him play, his numbers alone are quite impressive, and well deserving of this honor.

The AP all state team is a political mess. Having said that, his numbers definitely say that he would make the list. His coach has to nominate him though...

I would think Coach McCoy nominated him for sure. He has made unanimous first team selection in all the area teams i.e. All Red-River 22 (which is all divisions) and Big country All-3A team. He is one of only 10 RB's on the politically riddled AP All-State team, and not one of the 24 RB's chosen on Collins Street. Just disheartening for everyone not just Graham fans, but all the other coaching staffs and fans that acknowledged his talents throughout the year.

Everyone could have a little grip ... Cuero had a 2400 yard rusher and a QB who threw for over 2000 yards but not one of our lineman even got a sniff on any list ... figure that one out .

I'm proud to see Cole Rhoads and Ken Norman of Sweetwater get some recognition.:) Other than that, the list looks like it was sponsored by a fruitcake factory.:D

By the way, Braylon Webb is a good dback, but he is 5'11", not the 6'11" posted in the release on 3A All State.

I think sometimes deserving players get left out because they have a few teammates who have already been named. At the very least I think your center should have at least been HM...he was a rock.
