Big Spring joins the slowly growing yet still exclusive group of 3A programs that played in 5A at one point along with WO-S, Dallas Roosevelt and Zapata (although Zapata opted up and didn't actually have 5A enrollment)

Add San Antonio Sam Houston to that list of former 5A's now in 3A...you have list of others?

Any clue why Big Spring forfeited to Pecos back in 1995 after they beat them soundly??

Big Spring used an ineligible player in 1995's 56-8 win over Pecos, had to forfeit the game and missed the playoffs despite a season-ending 14-10 victory over Andrews, which claimed the runner-up berth thanks to
the Steers' mistake.
