9 Regional tourney and 2 State tourney apperances in the past
10 years. Sporting a 8-0 district and a 23-7 overall record, with only 1 loss to anything less than a 4A school. Could this be the year the Liberty-Eylau Lady Leopards win it all?

Looks like they have played tough against everyone including the Nationally ranked team. If they play hard, keep to their goals, then I bet they make a deep run

Under Arkansas rules it is a foul if you breath on an opponent.:D

where do the boys stand....were 99.9% gonna get second and have clinched a playoff spot....to get second we either have to win 1 one of the last 3 against the bottom of the district or have life lose

Split with PG and lost to New Boston in their gym. New Boston and PG play Tuesday and LE needs PG to win and then to beat NB at Rader Dome Friday to share DC.

both of those could easily happen....would that make it a 3 way?

Does she have a brother who played baseball for y'all like 3-4 years back? I remember going to see the state tournament and LE had a guy named Middlebrooks and another guy (can't remember his name but I think he's playing baseball at aTm) who were absolute beasts.

Yes her older brother is Will Middlebrooks. He signed to go to aTm but was drafted by Boston Red Sox. The other pitcher that year was Zach Fowler and he is currently on scholorship at TT. Lacey was as dominating in softball as those 2 were in baseball. She was offered a full softball ride at Minnesota last year.

Lady Leopards close out district 16 3A with a 56-48 win over Pittsburg. The score was closer than expected due to extended playing time for Lady Leopard seniors. Great job ladies.

The boys crusied to a easy 94-40 win and now have at least a share of DC in sight.

16 3A Standings
New Boston 7-1 at PG and at LE remaining
Liberty-Eylau 6-2 at Atl and vs NB
Atlanta 5-3 vs LE vs PG
Pleasant Grove 5-3 vs NB at Atl

NB had been playing hot until Atl put it on them in NB. Now they must go to PG (1 pt OT win) and LE.

LE boys are undefeated at home in district play. They soundly defeated Atlanta in their first meeting and lost by 3 at New Boston.

Atl- is hottest on the road, only loss in district road game was LE. Bad news is last 2 games are at home against LE and PG, a need to win, and a must win for the visting teams.

PG- started off 1-3 and has really fought back into the race. Their halfcourt game has developed back to a level similar to last year. They are the Leopards best freind... for now.

Should be an exciting week of BB in 16 3A

Momma Middlebrooks is a registered member of the downlow, but since 2 of her kiddos have graduated, she has slowed down in posting. :(

LE should still be "ok" in softball. ;)

She pops in very rarely. It didn't take me long to figure out who she was.:)

The Leopard boys moved into a tie for 1st in district 16 3A tonight with a convincing win over Atlanta 67-38. This sets up a rematch with New Boston for the outright district crown. The Lions were THUMPED (92-65) for the 2nd straight game and face the tough task of winning in a packed Rader Dome. Both teams are 7-2 and LE is unbeaten at home. The last meeting was down to the wire with NB takin a 3 point win.

Pleasnt Grove and Atlanta will meet, with the winner making the playoffs.

Lady Leopards are back in action tonight vs district foe Mt Vernon. LE is 2-0 against MV this year, but there is a little more at stake this go around.

Good luck Ladies.
