Pilot Point's 2010 schedule

not sure the order of but teams are celina, iowa park, liberty christian, boyd, fort worth nolan.......district games are aubrey, argyle, whitesboro, gainesville, sanger.

Yeah that will be great. This rivalry has been so good for so many years. One of my favorite games in the rivalry was the mud bowl the first year GA went back to Coaching PP. The lightning was awful and the field was more like a tractor pull in the mud.
Boys were sliding as much after the tackle or more than on the runs. SRO at the game in spite of the weather.

Great game 3-0 till the 8 minute mark in the 4rth..PP #34 drops two td passes in the zone...Both teams played great despite the weather and Celina pulled out a much deserved 10-0 win ...I remember that game well. It was my 7 years olds first time to meet G.A. and also first PP game to attend...Lots of memories thru the years with these two clubs for me.

Nice pics. My oldest was on the drill team and she came home covered in mud. Parking was such a mess.

that was one of my favorite experiences, despite the weather. i got there two hours early and was there for seven or so. It was horrible weather but those that waited it out got to see an exciting game.

Yes sir that was definetly a game to remember. Both teams played as well as conditions allowed and it was tight all game.
Pilot Point just could not move the ball very well. But their D did a nice job.

Losing a athlete like Sammy Salas at the RB position against Bridgeport in week 2 pretty much put a damper on the PP offense after that...PP's team would have been very competitive with Salas getting 25 tots a game. Would have won some close ones IMO.

From the 2A board, PP vs. Boyd is Week 0. That leaves Weeks 1, 3, 4 and 5 depending on when they take the bye.

i know carter signed at 9 a.m. this morning not sure if cam signed at same time or not but know he signed.

that is a tough preseason schedule. fw nolan won state and liberty christian lost in the state game. renewing the celina rivalry will be tough and boyd always plays really hard.

This team that is jumping to 3A is in now in the same catagory as the 2001 team that was headed to 3A in 2002....the 2001 Team was by far the worst team in memorable PP history IMO. They missed the 2A show that year and then were catapulted to the 3A levels with a new coach and system....The 2009 team was Pilot Points best team ever....This coming 2010 team has been together for 5 years with the same coach and they know his system very, very well, its managed to get the job done, and I believe PP will continue on that path in the 2010 season although the hill is at a much steeper grade. Pre disrtict should get us ready for District, one way or another. PP returns 5 and 6 by some accounts and looks as if they will put together another very competitive team this upcoming season.

You will do allright this year. YOu are in a good district. Argyle will be the team to beat but I believe you could finish second. Argyle did graduate some real players so I could not say just how it will turn out. But with Prosper gone to 11 two of the 3 playoff teams from last year are in different districts and nobody else from last year was close to the top 3.

I don't expect Pilot Point will have much trouble making the adjustment to 3A this go around. They won't have to overcome near the obsticles that Farmersville did 2 years ago when they moved up after winning a state title. They will be fine!

PP! Any news on Jarman? Has he signed to play anywhere?
