Just saw Evangel Christian from Shreveport, La is looking for a Sept 17 opponet. Very exciting team if anyone needs a game.

There's no way they'd ever "stoop" to playing a Texas 3A team.

I don't see why not, they have a hard time beating our 4A and 5A teams.

The last I heard they were 2A playing with 1A numbers and they will take on anyone.:thinking:

Evangel has always been we will play any top team...No 3A team in Texas wanted to take them on

They should've called BEFORE realignment in Texas. I could think of a couple, or 2 or 3 teams that would've played them but were never called before the schedules were completed.:devil: I guess the recruiters are looking for some Texas talent over there at Evangel.:D

I think Evangel screwed Steve Warren and Abilene High a few years ago. WHen they went to shake hands after the game he informed Warren he wasnt going to honor the second year of their contract to play.

West Monroe did the same thing to Midland Lee several years ago.

If I remember right . they did get beat, same thing with West Monroe several years ago.
