I would like to hear how teams are building for the future......At Bridge City, they have a 7th grade "A" & "B" team; a 8th grade "A" & "B" team and a top notch 9th grade team that altogether have lost only a couple of games. Now the JV, is a comical story, they are called the DIRTY DOZEN (actually there a 14 of them)! Coach Tarver keeps a lot of players on his varsity and plays a lot of individuals in varsity games. That leaves the Dirty Dozen to fend for themselves. So far, they have won FOUR and lost two games- by one point and last week by 2 points to a good 4A JV from Silsbee. Silsbee had a team of 35 players out to face the Dirty Dozen. What they don't have in developed skill at this point, they make up with savvy, poise, fortitude, and teamwork. Will they make a statement someday on Varsity? Probably!......Please share with us some unique things about YOUR High School Football development program.
