Week 2 September 9-10

This is all TETATIVE and subject to change!!


We are working out the details for a Snyder vs Clyde and Sweetwater vs. Leveland double header for Friday night.



Snyder/Clyde at 5 pm and Sweetwater/Leveland at 8 or 8:30



Roscoe vs Stamford on Thursday night.



There is a possibility that the front end of the double header may swap and the Thursday game will be Snyder/Clyde and Roscoe game 1 on Friday.


And hopefully 2 more varsity games on Saturday. (Still waiting to hear from some coaches.)


The double header is a great idea and would be lot's of good ball in one place this early in the season, but will be tough to pull off in that short of a time frame .....but we can do it. Have to work out details of 1 gate or 2 and Sweetwater season tickets for the Clyde fans that stay.

Working on a possible Canyon vs. Denison for the Saturday evening game!!

It's a fact that Denison sucks! :mad:

Therefore they will only beat Canyon by 42. :thinking:

Don't forget his punting skills...still one of the best ever. Shane Leckler is not far behind....but Shane didn't play Q-back and D-Back in the same game!!

Anson vs. Merkel..should be a very good game.



Friday 5 or 5:30 Snyder vs. Clyde
followed by Sweetwater vs. Leveland.

The Friday DH will be a first for us should be lots of folks around for some good football!!



Saturday Hoping to have Roscoe vs. Stamford......still waiting on word.....and still working on others.



Canyon decided to not play Dennison and play Roswell, NM. instead.


Then later we will host 5A North Mesquite vs. Lubbock High on Saturday, September 25, at 4 p.m.

They are still working things out.....SISD is in charge of the 2nd game (Not the Chamber)....it is going to be interesting to say the least!! We are going to give it a go this time and if it works it will be a very good thing.....and if not.....may not do it again.

I hope it all works, having a good double header on a Friday night before the playoffs is just a really good thing!!
