Lets have the predictions

mine:

1. La Vernia (call me a homer...i dont care)
2. Cuero (amazing talent across the board)
3. Yoakum (big strong and overpowering)
4. Sam Houston (very athletic but needs to cut down on bonehead plays and turnovers)
5. Pleasanton (dont know much about them. played em in the playoffs a few years ago and they were very good. heard they've been rebuilding since)
6. Gonzales (played em a few years ago and were a lot more athletic than i gave them credit for)
7. Poteet (athletic team, needs to get better on the line, and cut down turnovers)

what do yall think

Lot of unknowns going into this one. One thing for sure going on history of teams, no real cake walk for anyone. Gonzales has some good looking kids coming in subvarsity and jr. high levels. Lock has work cut out for him to rebuild and teach our kids what it takes to be a winner again. Only took a year or so to blow up 10 years of good programs. This district will be fun for all.

Gobblers will need to find a QB and defensive line. All the skill players are back. Should be very good though

This district is going to be a doosy when it comes to basketball. Sam Houston , La Vernia, and Gonzales will dominate. Some very good bball players there.
