Gilmer. Gilmer will just reload and have another great team. Carthage graduated that big O-line but they will still be good. Just not as good as Gilmer.

Still a little early for this one. Both teams are going to have to go thru non district schedule before I pick. This game and district are going to be about survival. The healthiest team will make it out.:D

Gilmer will prove just how deep the talent runs on this team this year. People are going to look wide-eyed at how the Buckeyes play this year after losing Stump, Holt, Jenkins, etc.

They have had a weak district for a long time. Well, now it is the strongest in the state, in my opinion. Could have 3-4 in the preseason Top 10, out of this district alone! Gilmer's win streaks at home and in district games could be in more danger this year than at any time since they started those streaks. However, the danger will not come from any RED!

I vote for having district 16-3A get a separate thread on 3ADL during district games for game of the week. Every week of district play is gonna have a huge game in that group.

This is true, but it would have to be the other way around with Gilmer winning D2 and Carthage winning D1. Still, for that to happen, Henderson would have to miss the playoffs entirely.

By the enrollment numbers this is how they stack up:
1) Henderson
2) Carthage
3) Pittsburg
4) Gilmer
5) Gladewater
6) Spring Hill
