I think it was Pirate4state - we waved at each other while on the phone - Cuero vs Sinton - Nov 2004.... Then the next week I met Jason at Round Rock stadium - Cuero vs Palestine. Oh wait - I met PhilC briefly at a basketball game in Sinton the year before. Then I met LHPM and so on - (this doesn't include the Cuero folks) I still regret not getting out of my semi-warm seat at the Cuero vs Gilmer game to meet up with Lost Aussie.. we'll just have to play again this year :p

We also met the week before at the "fog bowl". :) I'm trying to remember. I want to say the first person from the DL (other than LH folks) that I met was from Yoakum when we played Devine in New Braunfels. :thinking:

that's right - I suppose that was the week before the Sinton game - Wimberley was still in Reg IV at that time, right? I met Debbie at alot of playoff games.. some Cuero was playing, some LH was playing.. one time we met in San Antonio and almost didnt recognize each other.. what game was that - we met at the ticket gate

I was at that game, the "fog bowl", that game was the first time I met p4s.

The first person I met from the downlow was sinton66. The second was SintonFan inAustin... we were both scouting the Wharton game back in '02 and ran into each other outside of the bleachers in the 3rd quarter. A very brief encounter.

The great thing about coaching trees...Traylor was at Jacksonville( as was his OC MAtt Turner) under Danny Long who was the OL coach at Marshall back in the Dennis Parker Heydays( as was Matt Turner who was my 8th grade football coach.

So the offense that Traylor runs now was in its infancy stage in Marshall where we in the late 80's and early 90's were "flinging it" all over the field simply because we were a 50/50 pass/run offense that was alot of one back.
