She was about 19 months in that picture...she's 20 months now. She's quite talkative and very much a sweetheart. She runs into the guest room every morning to get my coat for me before I head into work and then walks me to the door and gives me a hug.

I miss him. He's not even registered anymore. That is the reason I am against the automatic pruning.

I'm not sure what happened before I joined...but I think at one time Gobbla2001 was a moderator. When I joined in 2002, bearcat, matthew328 and jacket2000 were the mods and the original admin was the admin. There was some kind of shakedown/shakeup/miscommunication/joke gone bad and the future of the downlow was uncertain. Shortly after, the board was revamped...which is why you can't search any threads past that time....and sinton66, slpybear, and myself came onboard as moderators and matthew328 and admin were the administrators....with matthew328 as the owner. After a while we brought LHPM on board as a moderator.

We cruised along with that for a while and I don't know which one came first, either P4S taking a moderator position or Sinton66, slpybear, old green and admin buying the board. I just remember at one time, it was just us 3 "women" as the moderators. P4S did it as long as she could stand..lol and then stepped down, that was when 44inarow came on board. After a while we decided the board had gotten busy enough to warrant more mods...especially given the fact that all us girls all had full time jobs. That was when WOS87 and kepdawg came on as moderators.

I may have gotten some of this information incorrect....I have been here a long time and have slept since then.:D

3ADL has a long and storied history. It started I want to say back in 2000 as a bravenet forum, very bare bones. Gobbla and bearcat1 started it back then. Jacket2000 came along to help moderate and then myself.
Somewhere along the line Gobbla hooked up with Admin and got a nice message board somewhat similar to what you see now. We used to have a page for each district and would update info through homestead. We had regional editors, etc. It was a great source of info back in the days when there weren't many sites.

The site grew and grew, eventually Gobbla as he graduated HS left the site and bearcat and Jacket left also. For a while there it was just me and I decided to scrap everything but the message board. Sinton, RM, LHPM, and P4S came along as mods and as I took a job with rivals.com my influence slowly erroded LOL

Eventually I gave up my ownership of the site as I had kinda gotten it by default. I think its a 4 man ownership team if I am not mistaken? Bottom line is Admin has always been the person who has held this thing together and w/o him this site woulda been gone a long time ago
